Sunday's Napkins

On Sunday, Josh, Greg and I were out at the Brooklyn Yard, next to the Carrol st. bridge. After that we headed up the street to the Gowanus Yacht Club, were I sketched these. I gave some drawings away as usual, and kept some for myself, after all, I'm not really that nice.

Make sure you don't keep so many that they add to the clutter...

Thank you for introducing yourself to me at Sample (on Smith St) last night. I hope I have a chance to see your finished sketch (and your upcoming exhibit).

I love how the texture of the napkin shows through your illustrations. The material is so delicate, yet your drawings have presence and movement.

Please stop by the Center for Book Arts this Wednesday (7/29) evening if you're available -- I am participating in an artist talk in conjunction with the group exhibit, Threads @ 6:30pm:
