Just a couple of sketches done in Prospect Park, the guy laying down from late last year, and the trees from this July. Not much beats an afternoon there with a sketchbook some friends, and some wobbly pops.
I just love the image of the trees (the second piece).
I encourage you to check out Shop Art Gallery on Bergen Street near Smith: 51 Bergen Street, http://www.shopartstudio.com/ I think Muriel, the gallerist, would like your work. I've been showing with her since February, and she's quite supportive.
Phil, The web site give submission instructions. Muriel prefers to view web sites, or to look at cd's with images. The details for how to submit are here: http://www.shopartstudio.com/submissions.html
If you have questions after looking at it, let me know. I will try to help.
She only puts the work of artists in her current formal group show up on the web site. The actual gallery has additional work, ranging from formal paintings to much less formal collage, ceramic sculpture, a bit of jewelry. She's relatively open.
